HOW MOVIES ARE MADE

Cost: $25
Learn how professional level films are put together from start to finish. We’ll explore story structure, scene composition, camera settings, editing, composing, sound design, and even how a film ends up on the big screen. No prior knowledge or experience of filmmaking/videography is necessary. This class is ideal for anyone who is interested in the process of filmmaking or anyone who just wants to improve their own videos. The class will be tailored to the interests of its students, and will include lectures on aspects of filmmaking, analysis of clips from professional films, class discussions, and occasional hands-on activities.
Cancellations must be made five days before the initial class session to be eligible for a refund. Nicolet College reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, substitute instructors, or make any changes to classes as necessary. Age requirement for Community Education classes: Unless otherwise specified in the class description, children under 18 are allowed, but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
