In this class, you will learn how professional level films are put together from start to finish. We'll explore things like story structure, scene composition, camera settings, editing, composing, sound design, and even how a film ends up on the big screen. This is an introductory course, so no prior knowledge or experience of filmmaking/videography is necessary. This class is ideal for anyone who is interested in the process of filmmaking or anyone who just wants to improve their own videos. The class will be tailored to the interests of its students. Each class period will include lectures on aspects of filmmaking, analysis of clips from professional films, class discussions, and occasional hands-on activities.
