NET: Nicolet Entrepreneurial Thinking
Every entrepreneurial journey is unique. No matter where you are in your journey, this workshop series will give you the resources, support, and inspiration to define/refine your entrepreneurial vision and apply simple, practical tools to move forward on your road to success.
Begin by exploring the entrepreneurial mindset. Fundamentally, entrepreneurship is a way of thinking that enables you to seek opportunities, develop creative solutions to problems, and overcome challenges. Then we’ll dive into the entrepreneurial process, not from a theoretical or technical standpoint, but from a practical, no-nonsense point of view – with simple tools and one-on-one help along the way. Finally, you’ll create an abbreviated business plan (just 3 – 5 pages) that will serve as your road map for success.
Topics will include:
- The key role of research and how to conduct it,
- A simplified budget process to guide your activities that creates your “napkin financials”
- Easy to use thinking aids including the sales funnel, budget pyramid, and “magic quadrant” positioning
