Functional Ceramics for Culinary Use

Intermediate studio ceramics class where we will learn concepts for functional pottery. Students will be expected to create 2 identical plates that will be given to the Nicolet College Culinary Lab collection for student serving pieces. The last class session will be in the Culinary Lab where Chef Mitch Below will provide a talk on the art of plating food and serve lunch to the class on the finished pieces. Students will be able to explore their own personal functional objects as well.
