Beginning Star Gazing

This program will provide a brief overview of our Solar System, the Milky Way Galaxy, and the Universe. We'll cover the scale and times to travel to different locations. You'll learn what you'll see in the sky throughout the year, and discover when it's best to view planets, meteor showers, aurora, eclipses, the Milky Way, and distant galaxies. We'll demonstrate the tools used and stargazing aids, along with how to select binoculars or a small telescope.
