Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh may be the two most beloved painters of our time. Their use of color has dazzled viewers for over 100 years, and their acute perceptions of nature help us see the world anew. They were trailblazers in developing new artistic styles. Monet was the chief representative of Impressionism, creating a distinctively expressive approach. We will view slides of their compelling work and discuss their art.
