Poetry Pals

Students will realize that there is a poet inside of them just awaiting pen to touch paper, fingers to fondle keyboard. Bring in a poem you enjoy to read and discuss or bring in an original poem for response from the class. All students will find that poetry is a means to understand themselves and their life's journey to a greater extent. All will have self-created poems by the end of class.
