SONGWRITING 101: ALCHEMY OF A SONG

Unlock the inner songwriter in this introductory course for all skill levels led by experienced local songwriters. Brett, a songwriter, artist, and producer has been writing songs since 2014 and has a rich history and music making and collaboration. Joni has over 10 years of experience and a passion to guide others through the songwriting process. Learn the basic structures of songs and musical theory to start writing music. Create
melodies through improvisation and inspiration from other artists, fit lyrics into melodies and vice versa, and break free from creative blocks and self-judgment. Basic music theory or ability to play an instrument is a plus but not required.
