Work & Study at Nicolet

Are you interested in working at Nicolet College? Working at Nicolet will provide you with valuable experience that can prepare you for your future. Federal Work Study (FWS) is a federally funded aid program designed to provide part-time employment for eligible students. Complete the application below to determine if you are eligible. Students who have completed the application along with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), are awarded FWS funds on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Work study pays $15 per hour. Students can work on campus or at a non-profit agency in their community. Please complete the Work Study Application. Contact the Financial Aid office with questions at 715-365-4551.

Explore Nontraditional Occupations

Non-Traditional Occupations (NTO) are careers in which less than 25 percent of the workforce is made up of one gender. For Nicolet College this could include women in welding, IT, criminal justice and automotive. For men this could include cosmetology and nursing. It's important to consider all of your career options, which may include a non-traditional line of work.  Some advantages of non-traditional occupations are higher wages, good benefits, advancement opportunities and work you enjoy.
