Campus Sustainability Initiatives
Our campus is a living example of sustainable design and operation. Nicolet has invested in energy-efficient buildings, integrated LED lighting, and developed waste reduction and recycling programs to lessen our environmental footprint. Water bottle refill stations, motion-sensor lighting, and responsible procurement practices further reflect our dedication to sustainable choices in every corner of campus life.
Supporting the Campus Community Garden
Nicolet College partners with the Northwoods Community Garden which located in the campus field and is a thriving space for learning, collaboration, and sustainability in action. Open to students, faculty, and local residents, the garden promotes access to fresh produce, teaches hands-on gardening skills, and fosters a deep appreciation for sustainable food systems. Whether you're a seasoned grower or just getting your hands dirty for the first time, the garden offers a chance to connect with nature and contribute to a healthier community.
