Instructor: Nathan Lederman
Hybrid – in-person and Zoom

Join Nathan Lederman, fisheries biologist with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources based out of the Rhinelander Service Center, to learn about fish management in Oneida County. Nathan will lead a discussion on the methods used to collect fisheries information allowing data driven management actions to be taken in the area. An interactive discussion utilizing those data will provide attendees an opportunity to visualize trends, identify factors that may influence those trends and the kinds of management actions that can be taken to ensure the Northwoods of Wisconsin remains an angling destination.

Nathan is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and Minnesota State University, Mankato. Nathan practiced fisheries management on the Illinois River for six years prior to coming to Oneida County in 2022 facilitating an understanding of fisheries biology, invasive species, and lake, river, and stream ecology.
