Teens Ages 16-18 Can Explore Careers in Fire & Emergency Medical Services.

June 24: Nicolet College - Fieldside Center 
June 25: Aspirus (Woodruff) 
June 26: Rhinelander Fire Department 

Activities Include:

• Traveling up and down stairs while in full turn-out gear 
• Participate in search and rescue scenarios in low light conditions with obstacles
• Hands-on use of hose lines and extinguishers
• Participate in emergency first aid and complete Stop the Bleed course
• Travel to the Rhinelander Fire Department and experience a morning with a career department's daily operation
• Visit Aspirus-Howard Young Hospital in Woodruff and meet with emergency medical professionals and the Aspirus MedEvac Helicopter and flight crew
• Learn techniques and tools and see implements used by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources in fighting wildland fires
