Nicolet College Accepting Applications for Nicolet College Board of Trustees

The Nicolet College District Board Appointment Committee is accepting applications for four positions on the Nicolet College Board of Trustees. Three successful candidates will serve a three-year term and one interim candidate will serve a two-year term. All positions will begin on or about July 1, 2026.

Signed applications are due to Kris Peeters, Nicolet College, PO Box 5188, Rhinelander, WI 54501, by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. 

The open vacancies for the three-year term positions include two additional member positions and one elected official member. The interim vacancy for the two-year term position is an additional member position.

Per state guidelines, all candidates must meet a number of requirements in order to be eligible for Wisconsin Technical College System district board membership. Candidates must be residents of the technical college district, must submit an application/affidavit with a completed questionnaire and at least two written references, and must attend a district board appointment committee public hearing in person to be interviewed. The hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, at Nicolet College in Rhinelander. A second hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m., Thursday, March 5, at Nicolet College in Rhinelander. If all candidates can attend the Tuesday, March 3 hearing, the Thursday March 5 hearing will be cancelled.
