Through skills labs, simulations experiences, and clinical rotations your education will be aided with more than 900 hours of hands-on experience. You'll prepare to become an important member of a health care team by learning about the nursing process and how it is used to care for individuals across the lifespan. Graduate success on the licensure exam in the Associate Degree Nursing program as of April 17, 2017, is currently 94%, with the national average being 84%, according to the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.

In spring of 2015, according to the student  nursing program graduate survey, students indicate they are highly satisfied with the education/training received at Nicolet College. On a recent employer survey, 100% of employers indicate they would refer nursing program graduates to other employers and hire a nursing student graduate again.

About the Nursing Assistant Program

The nursing assistant is a vital member of the health care team. The nursing assistant carries out assigned duties under the direction of the professional nurse. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, toileting, assisting with feeding, taking vital signs, ambulating, lifting and moving clients, and performing other selected nursing procedures.
