Aid Your Education With Experience
Through skills labs, simulations experiences, and clinical rotations your education will be aided with more than 900 hours of hands-on experience. You'll prepare to become an important member of a health care team by learning about the nursing process and how it is used to care for individuals across the lifespan. If you are a good problem solver, enjoy working with people, follow procedures and regulations, then this may be the career area for you.
Graduate success rate on the licensure exam as of April 2020 is 96% with the national average 87%, according to the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. As of April 2019, according to the student nursing program graduate survey, students indicate they are highly satisfied with the education/training received at Nicolet College. On a recent employer survey, 100% of employers indicate they would refer nursing program graduates to other employers and hire a nursing student graduate again.
Nursing Program Mission Statement
In service to the people and the community of Northern Wisconsin, the Associate Degree Nursing Program prepares students as entry level nurses by providing quality education and preparing them for lifelong learning.
Nursing Program Vision Statement
To be recognized for excellence in nursing education and be valued as a vital educational resource for the communities of Northern Wisconsin.
“I want to start with my RN...I want to do something big. I want to affect someone’s life. I want to be able to make a change and help people. I think getting my RN is just the start of that.”
The Anatomage Table
The Anatomage Table is a new resource for students to learn about the human body in a life-like way. This high-tech equipment replicates the diagnostic approach in a healthcare setting using interactive visuals of anatomy and physiology. It brings what students are learning in textbooks to life without having to use human cadavers which can be expensive and hard to acquire. The Anatomage Table is the latest and greatest technology in health education and Nicolet is proud to provide this opportunity to our students.
Your Prior Experience Matters
Before you start a program, learn how your past experience can save you time and money. You may have previous education and work experience that could qualify for Credit for Prior Learning.
