COVID19 UPDATE #32

Dear Nicolet Community,

On behalf of the Executive Leadership Team, we hope that this message finds you and yours in excellent health and in positive spirits. It is quite remarkable that we continue to mitigate the impacts of the pandemic, but as we’ve stated too many times before, here we are—still.

The latest potential mitigation strategy receiving national attention is of course President Biden’s vaccine mandate for companies with 100+ employees. Should it be implemented, it is understood that Nicolet College will not be impacted by this specific iteration of the mandate; however, we are awaiting the outcomes of court challenges, the possibility of new mandates that might impact our institution, and beyond. We want to assure our treasured community that we are making operational preparations for a possible vaccine mandate—should it become a reality.

We promise to communicate information and any subsequent plans with students and staff quickly and transparently through website updates, email communication, Town Hall discussions, and 1:1 discussions.

We remain passionate about providing a healthy and safe learning and working environment for all students and employees. Please be confident, should Nicolet College be required to institute a vaccine mandate, our response and plan will be built upon a foundation of compassion for all students and staff, no matter personal circumstances.

With deep appreciation,

--Kate
