Have you ever thought of doing a long-distance backpacking hike? Join Anne Small and her young
son as they share stories from their five-month, 2,200-mile trek on the Appalachian Trail. They’ll even bring along the gear that they used on their hike!
Anne Small and her family have completed several long-distance trails and have a considerable amount
of experience in planning, logistics for tackling long trails, as well as ways to lighten your gear for a more
enjoyable adventure.
