BEGINNING CERAMICS

Designed for beginners to give you a hands-on experience working with clay. You’ll learn to shape clay in a variety of ways including hand building and
wheel throwing. When the class ends, you’ll have fired finished works of sculptural or functional ceramic art. Guided by a master ceramic artist, you’ll learn from a seasoned educator with over 34 years teaching experience. Course fee includes approximately 25 lbs of clay, firings, glazing, and access to studio equipment.
Cancellations must be made five days in advance of the initial class session in order to be eligible for a refund to allow for system processing. Nicolet College reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, substitute instructors, or make any changes to classes as necessary. Age requirement for Community Education classes: Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
