Please join us on Friday, July 24, for a meaningful presentation featuring acclaimed author Mary Annette Pember (Bad River Ojibwe), who will discuss her best-selling and award-winning book, Medicine River: A Story of Survival and the Legacy of Indian Boarding Schools. Drawing from her research, writing, and personal experiences, Pember explores the lasting impacts of the federal Indian boarding school system and the resilience of Native communities.

Hear Mary Annette Pember share insights from her research, writing, and personal experiences, followed by audience Q&A. Copies of Mary's book will be sold by the Nicolet College Bookstore after the presentation.

2:30–4:30 pm: Reception - Hosted by Nicolet College in collaboration with Wild Plume
Continue the conversation over light refreshments provided by Wild Plume, Indigenous Caterer.
