More than 60 people from throughout the Northwoods recently streamed into the Nicolet College Culinary Arts Dining Room for the first event in the college’s local Chef’s Series designed to inspire culinary creativity for anyone interested.

Business professionals looking for effective strategies to address the worker shortage, retain employees and improve workplace efficiencies are invited to attend the Future-Proof Your Workforce seminar from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Nicolet College.
The unique and thought-provoking art created by Ken Juon will be on display in the Nicolet College Art Gallery with an opening reception to meet the artist schedule for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 13, in the Art Gallery.
Juon uses words as the primary medium on his painted wooden panels.
