Category

More than two dozen employers from throughout the Northwoods will be at Nicolet College Thursday, April 7, for a Job Fair designed to connect those looking for work with employers that have openings.

“The big advantage for job seekers is that they have numerous employers all in one location,” said Kris Peeters, executive assistant to the vice presidents of academics, student affairs, and enrollment, who is coordinating the event.

“They can hear first-hand what types of openings there are, what the jobs entail, and also what kind of training is needed for any jobs of interest.”

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Lakeside Center on the Nicolet campus. It is open to both Nicolet students and the general public.

Employers attending the event include ABX, Ahlstrom Munksjo, American Senior Benefits, Aspirus Health, Bad River Tribe, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northwoods -Rhinelander, Charter Next Generation, County Materials, CoVantage Credit Union,
