Discovery Days at Nicolet College: Registration Opens Mar. 1 for Summer Career Exploration Programs

Nicolet College will open registration for its Summer 2026 learning programs for high school students on March 1.

Nicolet College Discovery Days offers hands-on learning experiences for upcoming high school freshmen through seniors to explore career-focused college programs by attending various academies, bootcamps, or workshops.

One- to four-day programs will take place June 15-19 and June 22-26.

“Many young people want to explore their options before they choose a career path that matches their interests and skills,” said Dr. Bobbi Fields, Vice President of Academic Affairs at Nicolet College. “Our summer programs are designed to give high school students authentic, hands-on experiences with well-paying and meaningful careers to help them make an informed decision.”

Nicolet College’s six academic schools have nine summer programs for high school students:

  • Automotive Fundamentals
  • College Readiness
  • Computer Science Fundamentals
  • Cosmetology
  • Criminal Justice
  • Culinary Arts
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Engineering Experiences
  • Fire & Emergency Medical Services

Summer programs are being offered at the special discounted rate of $20 per course, thanks to generous donations and community support. The fee covers all course content, required materials, and lunch. Additional financial support is available.
