Technology Resources

Brightspace is Nicolet College’s course content delivery platform. Access Brightspace from MyNicolet. You are encouraged to review the Student Resources course, a self-paced online training course. Courses will be available 2 days prior to the start date. For support, access Technical Support on the Brightspace homepage or call the Help Desk at (715) 365-4478. 

Attend a technology training session where you will learn how to navigate Brightspace. Our instructional design team will train you on how to log-in, navigate the system, and share resources for you to be successful. 

If you would like a student ID, contact the Welcome Center to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to come to campus, we will issue an ID without a photo. Please note that this ID will not be valid for voter ID purposes. Contact the Welcome Center at 715-365-4493 ext. 0 or email inquire@nicoletcollege.edu

If you do not have a laptop, desktop, or internet access: 

  • You may be eligible for funding for technology and other forms of financial assistance. Check the technology box on the emergency resources application. In addition to helping with technology, this one application can also help you access the various forms of financial assistance for students at Nicolet College.
  • The Nicolet Bookstore also has laptops, webcams, and headphones available for loan. Fill out this request form or contact the bookstore at bookstore@nicoletcollege.edu or 715-365-4443.

STATE AUTHORIZATION RECIPROCITY AGREEMENT (SARA)

Nicolet College ensures that the programs the college offers comply with a state's regulations before offering instruction within that state. The state regulations of your state of residence determine whether Nicolet may offer you a place in a course or program which you complete from your out-of-state residence.

Nicolet College participates in the National Council of State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (NC-SARA). If you reside in one of the many states who participate in SARA, Nicolet College’s programs are available to you. This allows students from NC-SARA approved states to enroll in:

  • Online degree programs, certificates, and endorsements that include internships, externships, co-ops, field experiences, student teaching, and clinical placements, and
  • Campus-based courses with out-of-state internships, externships, co-ops, field experiences, student teaching, and clinical placements.

View the list of the states participating in SARA. If you do not live in one of the states participating in the SARA program please contact Nicolet College and we will assist you in determining if Nicolet programming can be made available to you.
