Creative Writing

We will explore the basics of writing a story, whether a short story or the conceptualization of a novel or anything in between. Afterwards the class will take those elements of story building and write something based off of a prompt. We will then share the stories with the class and offer supportive alterations/suggestions to make the stories stronger. By the end of the class each participant will have a basic understanding of storytelling and the elements required to tell an engaging story, as well as a completed first draft of a story to take home with them!
