We will cover responsible harvest and processing methods for a range of species that can be found in the north woods of Wisconsin including cattail, fireweed, nettle, cedar, willow, birch, and more. Students will learn to make cordage and will use botanical materials along with simple plaiting and twining techniques to create our own unique baskets - small enough to fit into the palm of your hand!
