Nicolet College classes in Lakeland area moving to new locations

Recognizing the growing need for new educational opportunities for students with autism, Nicolet College has elected to end its lease of the Lakeland Center with Lakeland Union High School, which will use the building to establish a charter school for students with autism.
Nicolet classes previously located in the Lakeland Center will move to new locations in the area, beginning April 2.
Continuing Education offerings and credit classes will move to Lakeland Union High School, which is adjacent to the Lakeland Center. Students already enrolled in classes have been contacted with the new location of their classes.
Individuals looking to register for classes will need to contact the Nicolet Campus in Rhinelander. For Continuing Education classes, call (715) 365-4544. For credit classes, call (715) 365-4493. Nicolet’s toll-free number is 1-800-544-3039. Those needing TTY service can call the college at 1-800-947-3529 or 711 relay.
Many of the offerings from the college’s Public Safety program will also move to the Lakeland Union High School. Other Pubic Safety classes will move to other locations in the area as determined by specific needs.
All Academic Success services, including GED/HSED and college preparation classes, will move to new Nicolet classrooms located in the Lakeside Plaza, 103 Elm St., Woodruff, at the corner of Hwys.
