Free entrepreneurship workshop in Tomahawk March 20

Anyone looking to start a business or take a current venture to the next level is invited to attend Nicolet College’s free Exploring Entrepreneurship workshop offered through the Nicolet Entrepreneurial Training (NET) Program.
The free workshop in Tomahawk will run from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 20, at the Tomahawk Public Library, 300 W. Lincoln Ave.
“Many different factors come into play when launching and running a business,” said Doris McAllister, entrepreneur instructor at Nicolet. “The workshop will provide an overview of topics that include creating a business plan, analyzing the market and competition, securing funding, and other factors that go into operating a successful business.”
The free workshop will be followed this spring with the 10-week NET Business Blueprint Course which will delve deeper into the subject matter and offer guidance from experts in the fields of banking and financing, business law, insurance, accounting, marketing, and more.
Designed for both new and existing business owners, the course also offers access to industry and market research tools, individualized support and guidance, and resources to help transform your dreams and ideas into reality.
In Tomahawk, the NET Business Blueprint course will meet from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, April 3 to June 5, at the Tomahawk Public Library.
The NET Business Blueprint course is valued at $495 per person. Partial funding of $395 per students is available through a grant Nicolet received from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, bringing the cost to only $100.
