The Nicolet College District Board Appointment Committee is accepting applications to fill three seats on the college’s nine-member Board of Trustees.
State guidelines dictate specific criteria for board members to ensure fair and equal representation across the Nicolet District.
One of seats currently open is for any elected official serving in Oneida County or the portion of Langlade County within the Nicolet District. The two additional seats are open to anyone living in Oneida County or the portion of Langlade County within the Nicolet District.
One of the three open seats must be filled by a male.

All of the open seats are for three-year terms that run from July 1, 2017, to June 30, 2020.
Completed and notarized applications must be received by the college by 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017. Candidates must also be available to attend a District Board Appointment Committee meeting and public hearing. Applicants are encouraged to attend the meeting and hearing scheduled for 4 p.m., Thursday, March 9, 2017, in the Red Oak Center on the Rhinelander Campus. A second meeting and public hearing will take place at 4 p.m., Monday, March 13, 2017, at the same location for any applicants unable to make the first meeting and hearing.
