Appointment Committee accepting applications for Nicolet Board of Trustees

The Nicolet College District Board Appointment Committee is accepting applications to fill four seats on the college’s nine-member Board of Trustees.
In the appointment process, equal consideration is given to the general population distribution within the district as well as to the distribution of women and minorities. Employer and employee members should be representative of the businesses and industries within the district. The following positions are vacant:
- (1) Interim Elected Official Member – Interim term, July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2017
- (1) Employer Member – 3-year term, July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2019
- (1) Employee Member – 3-year term, July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2019
- (1) Additional Member – 3-year term, July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2019

The completed application must be received by the college by 4 p.m., on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. Candidates must also be available to attend the District Board Appointment Committee public hearing at 4 p.m., Thursday, March 24, 2016. The public hearing will be held in the University Transfer Center Room 102 on the Nicolet College Campus just south of Rhinelander on Hwy. G. If any candidate is unable to attend on March 24, a second public hearing will be held at 4 p.m., on Monday, March 28, at the same location.
