Academic Success Centers now open for Spring Semester

Nicolet College Academic Success Centers are now open for Spring Semester, offering free instructional services to people preparing to attend college, building academic skills for the workplace, earning a GED or HSED, learning basic computer skills, or learning to speak English.

Academic Success classes will be held in Rhinelander, Minocqua, Eagle River, Lac du Flambeau, Tomahawk, Mole Lake, Crandon, Carter, and the Forest County Potawatomi Community.

Classes will be held through May 17. No classes will be held during Spring Break, March 21 to 25.

Hours and locations of Nicolet College Academic Success Centers are as follows:


Wee Care Learning Center, 612 Hwy. 32 S, Mondays, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.


100A W Washington Street, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Eagle River

150 Hospital Road (Old Medical Clinic), Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Forest County Potawatomi

Cultural Center, 8130 Mish Ko Swen Drive, Mondays and Wednesdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Lac du Flambeau

Lac du Flambeau Community Ed. Center, 562 Peace Pipe Road, Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.


Nicolet Lakeland Center, 9569 Highway 70 West, Mondays and Wednesdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Mole Lake                     

Family Services Center, 10808 Sokaogon Drive, Mondays and Wednesdays, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.


Nicolet College Campus, Art Tech Center, second floor, room 205, Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.


Rhinelander Area Food Pantry, 627 Coon Street, Tuesdays, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.


Northern Advantage Job Center, 51-A Brown St., basic computer instruction only, first two Mondays of each month, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
