Projects Nicolet College students worked on with the Rhinelander Food Pantry and the City of Rhinelander were recently highlighted in the State Capitol at the Wisconsin Technical College System’s Student Showcase.

The annual event included displays from each of the 16 state technical colleges.

Nicolet’s display featured two student service learning projects. One was on Information Technology students installing and upgrading a computer system for the Rhinelander Food Pantry’s new location. The second featured Nicolet Art students and staff painting a large outdoor mural in downtown Rhinelander honoring military veterans.

Pictured here at the Student Showcase are, left to right, Nicolet IT instructor Scott Biscobing, IT student Ian Anderson, Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, IT student Jacob Cichanowicz, and Nicolet University Transfer Liberal Arts Dean Emily Stuckenbruck.
