Area caregivers honored for superior performance

Three area health care employees were recently honored by the Northern Wisconsin Long Term Care Workforce Network for superior job performance at the recent 9th Annual Direct Caregivers’ Conference at Nicolet College.
The event featured several presentations designed to advance professional development and continuing education for those working in the long-term care field.
The honorees recognized for standout performance were Vicky Walker, second from left, program assistant at Grace Lodge Assisted Living in Rhinelander; Kerry Bloedorn, middle, care partner at Helping Hands Senior Homecare Services in Rhinelander; and Ryan Larson, second from right, certified nursing assistant at Avanti Health & Rehabilitation Center in Minocqua.
