Fast-track career training classes to start this fall at Nicolet College

Nicolet College is offering classes that start this fall that lead to a fast-track college credential and the skills necessary to quickly enter the workforce or get additional training for a current position.
“Students will be able to get the industry-recognized skills they need to enter the workforce in literally a matter of months,” said Kenneth Urban, Nicolet College interim president.
“Many classes offer a high degree of flexibility with online instruction and weekend classes. This allows students with work and family obligations to earn a college education while still meeting their other responsibilities.”
Fast-track college certificates and diplomas will be offered for those interested in careers in manufacturing, health care, early childhood education, welding, and business.
Career-upgrade classes for those with work experience in information technology and automotive technology will also begin this September, October and November.
Upcoming academic programs and when they will start include:
- Microsoft Office 2013 – Oct. 22
- Nursing Assistant – Nov. 3
- Electromechanical Technology – Oct. 21
- Preschool – Oct. 25
- Welding – Oct. 17
Individual classes to advance job skills and when they start include:
- Interactive Web Programming – Oct. 22
- Intro to Hybrid Autos – Nov. 10
