Culinary Arts, IT open houses at Nicolet College in March

Nicolet College will hold two open houses in coming weeks to give individuals the opportunity to learn more about the Culinary Arts and Information Technology programs at the college.
The Culinary Arts Open House will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, in Northwoods Center 202 on the Nicolet Campus. The event will include tours of the new state-of-the-art kitchen, cooking demonstrations by students, tours of the culinary arts classrooms, and appetizers prepared by the students. Those attending will also have the opportunity to talk to instructors and students about the program.
The Information Technology Open House will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, March 14, in Tamarack Center 102. This event will include tours of the IT lab, computer demonstrations by IT students, and general information about the program. Individuals attending will also have the opportunity to sit in on a portion of an IT class to see first-hand what it is like to attend Nicolet.
At both open houses information will also be available on the admission process, financial aid, scholarships, and career opportunities in each field. Everyone who attends will also receive a voucher which waives the college’s application fee.
