MyNicolet is a web-based, self-service student system that gives you online access to your student records and lets you register for classes online.
Once you have received your login and password and reaccessed the system, it is recommended that you change your password to one that you can more easily remember. Remember to also keep this password confidential. Do not give your password to other students, as they will have access to all your confidential records.
Guide to MyNicolet Self-Services and Registration
All Nicolet students are assigned an academic advisor based on their program of study. Advisors are available to assist you at any time during your educational experience at the college. Advisors provide information about:
All new Nicolet students must meet with an advisor in order to register for their first semester classes. Continuing students should also meet with their advisor each semester prior to registration to ensure they are on track for graduation or completion of educational goals. Advisors see students by appointment and also communicate with them by phone and email.
Following advising, students may register online through MyNicolet, or may change their schedule during the open registration period.
Some issues you may encounter:
Prerequisites
Some courses that you need to enroll in may have prerequisite classes that you have taken somewhere else. If you cannot enroll in a class because of a prereq error message, please call the Advising Office or contact your Academic Advisor by phone or email to have them check the issue and simply register you for the course.
Waitlists for Courses
When you register for any course, you will have the option of marking a checkbox which will automatically put you on a waitlist for that class if it is full at the time of your registration. If you do not check the box, you will not be waitlisted. When you submit your course enrollments, the system will automatically show you which classes you have successfully registered for and which ones you are waitlisted.
Adding or Dropping a Class
You may add and drop classes online up until the first day of the semester.
