General Description of What We Do

Our Goals

The Disability Support Services program exists to help students with disabilities succeed at Nicolet College. Our primary goal is student empowerment. We help students blend their self-knowledge with appropriate accommodations to reduce barriers to learning. We try to quot;level the playing field" so all students have an equal opportunity for a successful education.

What We Do

Our staff helps students to identify and implement the accommodations they need in order to be successful at Nicolet. Reasonable and appropriate accommodations are made for all persons with disabilities. We work with Nicolet faculty, staff, and appropriate community organizations to assist students in their academic pursuits, as well as assisting students with career goals and job readiness skills.

How to Obtain Services?

Call for an appointment to meet with a Disability Support Services case manager or stop by our office in the Art Tech Building, Room 203.

Questions or Concerns?

Please feel free to contact us for a confidential discussion on anything relative to disabilities. Many people aren't sure if they have a disability, how a disability is defined, how to get tested for a disability, how to help a friend with a disability, etc. You don't have to have a disability to talk with us; we keep all discussions strictly confidential.
