Methods include |
BTSL |
Business Technologies Skills Labs. Students are required to attend each lab session. Work may be done outside of the lab if students want to work ahead or if additional time is needed to complete assignments. Instructors are available to assist students. |
Class |
Traditional classroom with instructor present for lecture or laboratory activities. |
Clin |
Clinical experience under an instructor in a real health care setting such as a hospital, nursing home, or medical office. |
Field |
Observational experience outside the classroom. |
Hybrid Courses |
A blend of face-to-face instruction with online learning. In a hybrid course, a portion of the course learning is online and as a result, the amount of classroom seat-time is reduced. |
IA |
Individually arranged courses. Instead of attending class, students meet individually. |
ITV |
Interactive Television. ITV courses connect students in four different locations with instructors through live video and audio links. Students can see and hear each other and the instructor at all sites. |
Vid |
Video. Students use a study guide, textbook(s), and videotapes to master course content. Students interact with instructor via telephone, mail, in person, or e-mail. |
WEB |
Internet courses are held online via Nicolet's Website at: http://natcbb.nicoletcollege.edu/. |
Students who do not have Internet access may use computers at Nicolet's campuses. |
Please Note: Many Nicolet credit courses are web-enhanced which means that some class activities may be web-based. Students have access to the Internet through the Nicolet library and campus computer labs. |
