Smallmouth Bass River Fly Fishing

S2

Hone your skills and get in on some of the latest techniques and one of the most exciting forms of smallmouth bass fishing today! We’ll begin with a short lecture defining tackle, tactic, and techniques, followed by on-the-water fishing. We will cover tactics critical to fly size, water conditions, and time of year. We will be fishing one of several Wisconsin rivers, depending on water levels and local conditions. These rivers are nationally known as some of the best smallmouth bass water in the state. This outing will also offer some fly fishing opportunities for northern pike and walleyes. 60-891-66000

You will also learn about the equipment to use and how to rig it, fly selection, and efficient “big rod” casting techniques.
