Internships offer employers a cost effective way to recruit qualified applicants for short-term staffing needs and the opportuntiy to identify individuals who have the potential for long-term employment. Employers can make arrangements to conduct on-campus job interviews at Nicolet College to recruit job-ready employees. You choose the date and time you want to hold the interview sessions and provide us with the job descriptions for your open positions. We'll advertise the event, recruit students from the appropriate programs, and schedule the interviews for you. Apprenticeship training involves a unique partnership among employers who offer on-the-job training, apprentices who agree to work for the employers, Nicolet College, and the Department of Workforce Development Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards. Typically, apprentices attend day school for eight hours every other week (72-hours per semester) and receive a normal hourly wage while attending class.
