The Nicolet College Foundation is pleased to announce that scholarship recipients for the 2024-2025 academic year are now being notified. The Foundation offered 242 scholarships, for a total of nearly $240,000, for the next year. Nicolet College students are advised to check their student email for their award offers. Recipients are encouraged to review their offers promptly, as the deadline to accept is May 6.

Graduating high school seniors within the Nicolet College District will receive notifications at their high school scholarship ceremonies and will have until June 12 to accept their awards.

Heather Schallock, vice president of community engagement and executive director of the Nicolet College Foundation, emphasized the Foundation's commitment to supporting students. "Scholarships made available through the Nicolet College Foundation have supported countless students over the years. Our goal is to continue providing opportunities for current and future students to achieve their academic and personal dreams."

Reflecting on the impact of scholarship support, Nicolet College Nursing Student and 2023-24 Foundation Student Ambassador Lena Symonds, said, "My gratitude extends beyond just the financial aspect but also for the community support."

Scholarship applications were accepted online in February and are made possible because of generous donor support. Many of the donations were received during “A Day for Nicolet,” the Foundation’s largest fundraising campaign of the year, held each fall.

Scholarships can be used for tuition and books, and any current or future Nicolet College student enrolled in at least three credits per term with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher is eligible to apply. The next scholarship application period will be in September.
